Welcome

Welcome to the NAISA election site. This is a drupal site, using the decisions module to implement voting.

On the near right side-bar (there are two, and just to be confusing, these are "left" and "right") are links to the candidate's statements and to the ballot questions, and on the far right side-bar are example links to the NAISA home, an example poll, and the navigation menu.

At the top of the page are the menu items, about (this site), governance, voting, and the Constitution and ByLaws.

If you have problems voting and want help, write me, Eric Brunner-Williams (ebw at abenaki dot wabanaki dot net). I'm a NAISA member who was asked by the Acting Council to provide technical help with the first election. If you can't log in, and think you are a member of the NAISA, or have registered for the Minneapolis meeting, contact Jean O'Brian (obrie002 at tc dot umn dot edu).

NOTE WELL: The voting period is 10 days, beginning at 6pm CDT, April 25th, and ending at 6pm CDT, May 5th.

Sample Ballot with multi-choice

This too is a sample ballot, to elect some numbers.

Vote for the Prime Numbers!!!

Sample Ballot with single-choice

This is a sample ballot. The ballot is for one office -- president or president-elect or secretary or treasurer or the council or the nomcom. For several offices, there are one or more nominees, and you may vote for only one of the one or more nominees. For the council you may vote for at most 6 of the 15 nominees, and for the nomcom you may vote for 2 of the five nominees. Here, you may vote for a single color, to see how voting works. There's another sample ballot above, with a wicked tricky question!
